Krishna Vijay came with interesting cop story. He narrated it quite well with good screenplay and direction. However slow pace and drags in the first and second half acted as speed breakers. He however made it up with good climax.

As the project is piled up in a shoe-string budget, ‘Asura’ can be a commercially well worked venture to keep the makers in safe hands. Adoration from lower class centers is doubtful while classes are likely to acknowledge the efforts of Krishna Vijay and Rohit.

And the film shows that the director is new to film-making. Had he written a better script and handled the characters differently, the film could have had a chance at the box office.
