Chandramukhi - All Reviews
First half of the film is mediocre. The story gets some _x000D_
grip towards interval. There is a surprise element in _x000D_
climax of the film. The suspense factor is maintained _x000D_
throughout. Plus points are the performances of Rajnikant _x000D_
and Jyothika. Negative points are insipid screenplay, _x000D_
mediocre music and insistent cinematography. This subject _x000D_
does not suit the macho image of Rajnikant. The subject _x000D_
of ghosts might not go well with masses. We have to _x000D_
wait and see if Rajnikant's charisma would work wonders _x000D_
for Chandramukhi or not.
Idle Brain
Rajnikanth, like Chiranjeevi, is in an unenviable position.
India Glitz
You cannot but help sympathize with Rajnikanth. He is at a stage where his popularity is at such a high that arguably no other actor before has enjoyed. With such a huge constituency of backers, it is always a difficult task deciding on whom to make his films for -- his hardcore fans or the general public.
India Glitz
Chandramukhi starts unusually, with Tata Indicom welcoming viewers to see this Rajnikanth starrer.
