JAMES BOND - Movie Reviews

James Bond doesn’t provide great entertainment, but the laughs are worth the time if you don’t expect much from the film.
On the whole, James Bond is a decent film from Allari Naresh. He sticks to his basics and entertains the audience well. While the interesting first half is fun, the second half gets quite routine. All those who are done watching the heavy duty Baahubali and are looking for a simple time pass entertainer, James Bond will not disappoint you.

Sai Kishore on debut came with a routine flick. He couldn't elevate the roles of hero though he managed to entertain viewers in the first half. Second half pace dips and interest levels too with dragged scenes. Naresh performed well but Sai Kishore could have include scenes to showcase his comic timing. Sai Kishore's screen play and direction is a bit amateur and with experience he may finetune it as he managed to tickle ribs with his dialogues in few scenes.

First half of the film is promising and it sets up the plot well. Second half goes slow and screenplay should have been better there. Plus points of the film are Allari Naresh, Sakshi and comedy episode. James Bond is a film that focuses on the strength of Allari Naresh - comedy characterization. We need to wait and see how Telugu movie lovers lap up a comedy film that's released 2 weeks after Baahubali!

Apart from Sakshi Chowdhury’s visual feast, there is nothing much to talk about this ‘James Bond’
Tollywoodandhra
James Bond has nothing to do with the comedy. It fails in reaching the typical expectations of Allari Naresh movie lovers.

Naresh have done far better comedies in the past and it is not easy for any director to make another decent comedy with him. Most of the directors are failing to meet the expectations of the audience. Naresh should try something new rather than repeatedly doing films that are neither funny nor interesting. James Bond is yet another lackluster comedy from the actor who has been struggling to find his rhythm back.
Gulte
A tighter screenplay, better music, shorter runtime would have made the film more funny. All in all, James Bond can be termed okay movie to those looking to just pass time as it is simple and non-exciting one.

Sai Kishore who made his debut with the film followed Srinu Vytla's style of comedy. First half goes at good pace with entertaining elements but second half drags a lot testing the patience of viewers. Comedy is good in parts and with so many stars, Allari Naresh's role is minimized. Sakshi dominated him and Ashish Vidyarthi's role is just OK as comic villain.

There is nothing new to offer in Allari Naresh’s James Bond. The film is neither impressive nor depressive. But, with a bunch of comedians with hilarious twists and turns, James Bond becomes a watchable film. Like Allari Naresh’s previous films, James Bond is also a minimum guarantee comedy entertainer, which makes you light-hearted while leaving the theater.

‘James Bond’ is a flimsy attempt from entire team. Commercially, the film might open to moderate crowds with big film ‘Bahubali’ still roaring. This is high time for Naresh to recheck his strengths and drawbacks before giving the next shot.
