Okkadine - All Reviews

The story is a revenge tale but was narrated in an innovative format with a couple of good twists. There are good suspenseful elements on which the director could not capitalize on.
A film getting released on valentine day with fresh pairing of Nara Rohit and bubbly Nithya Menon, one expect good romantic flick but Okkadine disappoints you to core. Its not a romantic love film, but a revenge story with slow dragging narration which irritates your mood for today.
Bumpy ride and exhausting
Great Andhra
Nara Rohit has got strong potential but he is erring on his choice of roles and movies. He has merged himself into the story but his character didn’t have strength to make him stand out.
Sometimes you know the fate of the film by its title. That is exactly how you feel when you watch Okkadine and walk out of the theatre. Some hint that it would be better to see a film with a bigger group for company
In the beginning of the film we spoke about needing atleast four people for company while watching this film Guess why? If you faint while or after watching this film, there would have been a definite urgency for those four to carry you home
Telugu Mirchi
Coming up with a good story or an interesting subject is not sufficient, one has to know how to make good use of this and come up with a good film. that didn’t happen here.
There's nothing great to talk about the story of the movie. The playback songs were not impressive at all. Screenplay was almost weak. Production values were good but the team couldn't utilize the same properly.
How many films have come in Tollywood in which villain wears the mask of good man to achieve his ulterior motives. Recently Prakash Raj donned similar role in Ongole Gitta and in this Sai Kumar reprised the character. But still film makers think that the moment they come with that idea
Director Srinivas Raga seems to have a fascination for mysteries and thrillers. His film Katha was on those lines. In his latest release, Okkadine, he tries to bring in an element of mystery towards the interval, but it falls flat.

When a series of murders took place in the city Nithya upsets a lot but when she came to know the reason behind it she was shocked. The real pot of the movie doesn’t start till the interval, after the interval the real story line comes to us;
Okkadine Director Srinivas Rao has come up with a interesting subject and while the appearance was regular. The narrative also little bit slow.
Okkadine is a poorly executed revenge saga. Nara Rohit and Nithya Menen have tried their best to do some damage limitation but they have been thwarted by a very bad screenplay and poor direction.
Okkadine is a romance-action flick, and Nara Rohit's performance and Nithya Menon's glamour are the main highlights of the film.
Nara Rohit is good, but he really needs to shrug off rigidity in his expressions and body language. Nithya Menen is good and she adds a kind of color to some extent in this pale movie. Naga Babu has delivered a decent performance and Saikumar is ok.
The story revolves around Shailaja (Nithya Menon) and Suryam (Nara Rohith). Shailaja is a bubbly girl who completes her education in foreign countries and returns to India. She comes across Suryam and falls in love with him. Suryam will be undergoing training at IFS. Suryam has a different phase of his life, which will be revealed as the plot unveils. What will happen to Shailaja after she gets to know about the other side of Suryam? To know this you need to watch the movie

A film getting released on valentine day with fresh pairing of Nara Rohit and bubbly Nithya Menon... anyone expects it to be a good romantic flick, but Okkadine disappoints
Nara Rohit proves to be a good performer but his character fades off and doesn’t have any strength. He does satisfactorily in what he was offered.Nithya Menon looked good and she delivers her best in terms of performance.
With a story like that it is mandatory that the pacing of the film is past and comedy clicks. Here the director fails on both the counts. The film drags on and on that one feels like watching en entire film by the end of the first half itself.
Director Srinivas Raga came with a good script but failed in perfect execution. He failed to utilise Brahmanandam, Ali, M.S. Narayana and the listless screenplay spoiled the film. Weak climax and music undid the film. Only saving grace is Nara Rohit and Nitya Menon's acting.
A predictable revenge story littered with two action scenes and a lousy climax.  Don't know what Raga was thinking while he made the film.
India Glitz
Okkadine disappoints with illogical screenplay and dragging narration.
Shailaja (Nithya Menon) comes from abroad and is looking forward to spending time with her father Shivaji Rao (Sai Kumar), a philanthropist. But much to her disappointment, her father has to make a trip abroad himself.
The Times Of India
There is nothing special in this film. All elements are week in the film. So, If you are die hard fan of Nara Rohith, Watch the film! Otherwise, Skip it.
Rohit Nara, nephew of former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, has been trying to carve out a place for himself in Tollywood and the way he is going about makes sense for him.
After doing a cameo role in Sarocharu Nara Rohit came up with high expectations with his movie. But his expectations did not come true, even though he performed well but his character did not have any strength, except in some action sequences.
