Power - All Reviews

First half of the film offers entertainment and second half has emotions and action sequences. Plus points of the film are entertainment and commercial elements. On the flipside, keeping few logics intact and smooth progression of scenes would have made the film better. Power has all the ingradients you expect from Ravi Teja - entertainment and mass elements. Director Bobby is a director who has ability to make it big as a commercial director. Ravi Teja’s comes up with another commercial entertainer after Balupu that has good scope to work well at box office. You may watch it!
Commercially, ‘Power’ might open to good openings. A long run is plainly questionable because of unstoppable Mahesh Babu arriving in next week.Low Power Transformer
Ravi Teja™s magic keeps you entertained!

Finally, even though a nothing new concept and plot, Power has the elements required to bring the audience to theaters. Given the several mass elements, the film will go well with the B,C audience. If not for Aagadu coming in the next week, the movie should be a big hit for Ravi Teja.
Hansika and Regina’s glamour is a bonus to the audience

For those planning to watch a movie without any logic and purely for entertainment, then this may just be the right choice
Sridhar Vivan, Bangalore Mirror
he first half of the film is entertaining and then, in the second half, the onus falls upon Ravi Teja's shoulders to carry the film with his power-packed performance. The climax is mighty disappointing and it's anybody's guess why the film feels longer than what the runtime is. In the end, Power is like all mix fruit juice. You know exactly what ingredients have been used to make it and what their source is, but the deja vu is too strong to shake it off your mind.

˜Power™ is a mass masala film with action, entertainment and glamour, it™s a typical Ravi Teja film
Suresh Kavirayani, Deccan Chronicle
Power is a standard Raviteja film that plays for the galleries. Director didn't care about the logics and loose ends in the film. He simply banked upon the capabilities of Raviteja and presented him in a pleasing way. First half will entertain people who look for lighter moments and second half has powerful action scenes for the masses
Power is going to end up as an average entertainer for Ravi Teja. A strong first half is a good asset for the movie but a below par second half spoiled the overall experience somewhat. Hansika and Regina add glamour to the movie. Business wise, the movie will have a tough fight as ‘Aagadu’ is getting ready to come in a week’s time.
'Power' is botched up entertainment

'Power' is a powerful entertainer made to impress the fans of Ravi Teja

Lacks punch but okay movie
Telugu Cinema
A promising film that has borrowed ideas from here and there.  But the Kona effect and Ravi Teja's powerhouse act deliver the film.  Comparisons with other films can harm the movie's prospects a bit, though one is sure to like it more than any of RT's movies in recent times.

Mass Raja shows his 'Power' on silver screen.
In all, Ravi Teja fans will be happy watching him play yet another mass character. But Power lacks that extra something which makes for a successful, racy commercial entertainer. One For Ravi Teja Fans.
Ravi Teja's performance and first half scenes are the plus points of the film. High emotional quotient is one of the minus points of "Power." The film has nothing new to offer and is just a routine mass entertainer.
Unlike the regular formula entertainers which have been focusing a lot on comedy, this film has got a higher dose of action and there is also a sensible message. The first half goes on a lighter note with elements of comedy, romance, fights and some songs. The interval bang was nice and the second half was more intense with fast paced action sequences and an interesting flashback episode. Overall, this is a film which is the perfect recipe for mass masala audience. At the box office, this has a good chance to become a sizeable success.
Baldev Saha [Ravi Teja] is a corrupt police officer who is quite daring. However, he ends his life while trying to catch a criminal Ganguly. On the flipside in Hyderabad, police inspector Animuthyam [Brahmanandam] brother-In-Law Tirupathi's ultimate aim is to become a cop. However one day, Home Minister of West Bengal approaches Tirupathi to find the whereabouts of Ganguly. Tirupathi accepts, Home Minister's plea and steps in Baldev Saha's shoes
Andhra & Telangana Wishesh
Although the crux of the film – son respecting his father to the ultimate is a concept of recently released ‘Maanikya’ (remake of Mirchi Telugu film), this ‘Power ***’ is scaling heights in respect of son to father to beat the enemies eventually – this is also a remake of Telugu film ‘Dookudu’.  It is a full 14 reels entertainment for the fans of power star Puneeth Rajakumar.

Go to Power if you love Ravi Teja’s films
Overall the film touching the hearts of audiences is bleak. Next week Aagadu is going to be released. If Power can make any collections before, it should. Otherwise, the film can be restricted to B & C Centres.
But boring songs doesn’t make the scenario interesting, and their shortened length spoiled the party further. Also Raviteja’s heroism never got lifted to an all new level, as every frame looks like a reference of something we’ve watched it already. Interval twist is good, but not the bang. In second half, too many twists and too many altered plot lines induce more confusion than hair rising moments. They imply a feeling why Telugu directors and story writers never think innovative, at least something new rather same ‘silly’ plots, ‘senseless’ logics and ‘speedy’ over-buildup shots
Power starts with a powerful entry by Ravi Teja. First half is entertaining with one liners, comedy sequences by Brahmanandam and Saptagiri. Interval bang is big asset. Comparatively, second half is okay - flash back, heavy sentiment, weak climax. But the later half is balanced with hot songs.
his movie is a complete family entertainer except for some violent scenes. Ravi Teja’s dialogues were full of power and punch. Comedy by Ravi Teja and Brahmanandam is very good. Ravi Teja , who has done this movie after a long gap has succeeded in impressing his fans. ‘ Natanki Natanki’ song is good. Production values are high and cinematography is very good. Back ground score is one of the main asset to the movie.
Business Of Tollywood
Routine mass-masala entertainers must and should need gripping screenplay to enthrall viewers, otherwise the proceedings becomes boring and monotonous. The same thing happened for ‘Power’
The first half of the film is entertaining and the second half, the onus falls upon Ravi Teja's shoulders to carry the film with his power-packed performance
