rinivas Reddy who made his debut as director came with routine mass entertainer to attract masses. He depended on out and out comedy and succeeded for most of the first half. Ram's romantic scenes with Rashi and serious, hilarious scenes with villains attract the viewers. Pleothra of comedy stars entertain viewers. However second half drags after sometime as Srinivas Reddy lost plot with illogical narration and but Srinivas Reddy quickly tried to pull the strings in the climax but not up to the mark. Over all an average flick from a debutante.

Forget A centres, even B & C centres audiences might not like this routine stuff. By Monday the real scene of the film's performance at box office will be out. But by all chances it could end up as a below-average to disaster for our hero. New director should have worked hard rather smart.

On the whole, Shivam is yet another routine and dragged out commercial entertainer. If you are ok with the same old story line, routine comedy and can manage to sit through the painful run time, you might end up liking it. But for the rest, other than Ram’s screen presence and some decent songs, this film has nothing much to offer and ends up as just an below average affair.

Debutante Srinivas Reddy selected a routine mass flick to be on the safe side. Similar type of stories are told time and again on silver screen and he tried to have new comedy scenes to generate interest. Story however goes nowhere but he managed to entertain viewers with good comedy in the first half.

None of the scenes that the director expected to evoke fun clicked making it a totally boring affair. It will be a big test for anybody to sit until the titles roll on.

Though Ram oozed and breathed energy and vigor in every scene, the outdated story, unnecessary comical episodes and dragging second half makes the narrative a tad tedious.
