The film, a sort of Rig Veda meets Ram Gopal Varma, must have sounded suitably lofty at the concept level but as cinema, it is as engaging as watching paint dry.

To sum up Siddharth - The Prisoner just doesn't work. With the pace being dreadfully slow the film is one boring watch.. Yawn..!

A pity, really, because this movie had the potential to be engrossing. Most of the characters ring true; some, like Krish’s nanny, are well done and the cinematography works. The background score is interesting too, though it gets monotonous after a point
