Supreme - Movie Reviews

Sai Dharam Tej gives a decent output. His dance moves are impressive and with a better dialogue delivery, he will look more promising. As for choreography and the songs, they both fail Teju's immense dancing talent. It's a disappointment to see a dumbed down version of the iconic 'Andam Hindolam'. Raashi Khanna passes muster in the role of a glammed-up cop. Her Thai massage-like 'punishment' to the hero good.

Supreme is an average entertainer. The movie has no novel factor but will keep the audience entertained from start to the end. It falls little short of Anil Ravipudi's last film, Pataas but can steer home comfortable with Summer advantage. Given no mass films round the corner, the film may end up as a decent grosser at the domestic box office.

Overall, a routine action drama with some entertainment but predictability and second half has undone what it promised in the beginning.

Supreme Entertains in the 'routine 'way
Tupaki.com
Director Anil Ravipudi who did a superb job with his debut movie has done a good job with this movie. He should have taken much care of second half. Second half is a bit low on entertainment. To sum up, Supreme is an entertaining ride!!!
Chitramala
Anil Ravipudi has the single agenda of having entertainment. But, neglected the other aspects while narrating the film. Plus points of the film are Sai Dharam Tej’s ease and entertainment episodes. On the flipside, routine story, predictable screenplay in second half and excessive action episodes work against the film. On a whole, Supreme has chances to click with crowds due to the entertainment aspect!

Supreme is a neatly executed commercial entertainer with its share of highs and some cinematic liberties. Give it a watch, if you are looking out for a film with the right measure of comedy and emotion.

Even though the story is routine, director Anil Ravipudi became successful in making this film attractive to the audience. He took care to mingle all the commercial ingredients such as action, comedy, romance and sentiments to impress all the sections of the audience. The first half of the film is loaded with entertainment, while the second half is filled with emotional content. Overall, the film Supreme surely makes Sai Dharam Tej, a Supreme Hero

Supreme movie is supremely eligible movie to watch, this summer
Andhrawishesh
With Supreme, Sai Dharam is surely going to go one step higher towards his stardom. Entertaining comedy through out the film and some well executed emotions are basic assets. If you ignore the predictable story line and go with the flow of the film, Supreme is a typical popcorn entertainer which will not disappoint you this weekend.

Director Anil Ravipudi, had provide wholesome entertainment in his earlier film “Pataas”. But this time, he could not establish even the characters properly
Filmfare
A cab driver going on a mission is like watching Khaleja again, but this time we have two villains instead of one and many comedy scenes to pass the plate. But the failed logics, uninteresting screenplay and cliched performances from actors created boring moments. A perfect repetition of Pataas-like frame work isn't also exciting. On a whole, the film will end up as a pretty average grosser at box office due to holidays factor.

oth halfs are equally entertaining, Supreme movie is a decent watch. If you liked ‘Pataas’ movie, then this movie also will satisfy you. As upcoming two big movies ‘A Aa’ and ‘ Brahmotsavam’ cater to the class audience, there won’t be any competition for SUPREME in mass segment this summer. Supreme might end up as a decent grosser at the domestic box office.

The real trouble starts in the second half as there isn't any conflict in the story. Everything runs on a predictable note without any twists and turns making it a boring affair. Climax should have been handled better. Fight composed on the handicapped persons is a good commercial thought. All in all Supreme has its moments but lacks the punch that is very much needed for a commercial film. It is an okay watch if you go with little or no expectations. To cut the long story short it is an average offering from the Patas director.
Gulte
He starts off in a interesting manner and then romantic scenes happen before story picking pace during interval. Post interval it all boils down how hero saves the boy with hero entering villain den and making him a fool.

Supreme is a decent entertainer with only Entertainment as Mantra. The director managed to keep the audience entertainer from start to stop. If you are expecting anything more than that, you will be disappointed. Given that there are no mass releases in this month, it will end up well at the box office.
Tollywoodandhra
Finally, Supreme is yet another routine mass masala which only banks on entertainment from start to stop. It will probably go well with the mass audience in the holiday season.

They say that the second film for a director is mostly jinxed but Anil proves that wrong
The Times of India
Supreme doesn’t take him to a next level. It just establishes that the director is capable of handling a masala film for a big hero. We saw Tej playing a cab driver mechanically beating the pulp out of dozens of big bodied men who trap him and chase him from all sides. When he isn’t fighting physically, his car ejects a weird structure that destroys a vehicle that follows his car

Commercially, ‘Supreme’ might pay off in lower order centers where commercial entertainment is always welcomed. For hardcore critics, this is a regular and average stuff. So, Cinejosh rates ‘Supreme’ with 2.5 stars for entertaining in bits and pieces.

Director Anil Ravipudi seems to have become a master of commercial cinema. It's not easy to tell the cliched masala story with a lot of entertainment weaved in. He had managed to do that with Pataas and has aced it in Supreme.
